The Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) is a Constituent College of the University of Dar es Salaam, established in 2005 to address the growing demand for qualified teachers in Tanzania. Located in Chang’ombe, Temeke District, Dar es Salaam, DUCE has played a pivotal role in strengthening the education sector by producing competent graduates who meet the country’s educational and developmental needs. DUCE operates under the Charter and Rules of 2010, which define its primary functions: providing high-quality teaching, conducting research, and offering public services.
