We are a HealthTech nonprofit on a mission to provide stigma-free mental health support to Tanzanian youth, improving their well-being through digital services and community outreach programs. At TAHMEF, we believe that mental health care is a fundamental human right. Our work is to ensure that every youth in Tanzania has access to stigma-free, affordable mental health services, regardless of their geographical or socio-economic status. We are leading the charge in transforming mental health care across Tanzania, providing culturally relevant digital services combined with community outreach to foster a stigma-free environment. TAHMEF proudly collaborates with the Ministry of Health Tanzania and President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government Tanzania (PO-RALG). Through this collaboration, we are advancing mental health awareness, integrating mental health services into national health frameworks, and providing accessible support. Together, we work to break stigma, improve accessibility, and ensure that mental health becomes a priority for Tanzanians. Because mental health challenges among youth in Tanzania are exacerbated by stigma and limited access to care, we work in underserved urban and rural areas to help Tanzanian youth access stigma-free mental health support through digital services and community outreach. In order to improve their well-being and resilience. We are committed to reform mental health care for Tanzanian youth through innovative digital solutions, community outreach, and strategic partnerships. Our work addresses stigma, improves access to mental health services, and fosters resilience among underserved youth aged 15-25. Mental health professionals and community workers with continuous education to enhance the quality of care and ensure effective service delivery.
